Stuffed Crust

By Victor, 826 Valencia

This student gives thanks to ordinary objects in an ode.

Level

Grades 4–5

Type

Poetry

Ooo stuffed crust,
your melted cheese is like chocolate melting.

Ooo stuffed crust,
pepperonis are lighting your world.

Ooo stuffed crust,
your vegetables sit on top of the stuffed crust.

Ooo stuffed crust,
it makes me cry to see you get chopped.

Ooo stuffed crust,
I see videos of you every day.

Ooo stuffed crust,
I’m drooling.

Ooo stuffed crust,
I stopped drooling, but just to say, “You’re so good.”
