Contacting Sources

“Cold calling” a source can sound scary, but in this session students will learn best practices for doing so and receive a communication template.

Your students will write an e-mail or a script to help them contact their potential source.  

What You Will Need

  • Every student’s story topic list from Session 2.
  • Computer and projector
  • Devices with Internet access (tablets or computers)
    • 1 per student
