If We Were In Charge

If we were in charge of the world,
We’d get rid of alarm clocks,
We’d make sequels come out sooner,
And all of the impossible things would be made possible.
If we were in charge of the world,
Cinnamon rolls would be healthier than broccoli,
Chocolate cake would be more nutritious than carrots,
And there would be no more visits to the dentist.
If we were in charge of the world,
Summer days would be air-conditioned,
Winter would be 75 degrees,
And it would feel like spring on a cold snowy day.
If we were in charge of the world,
Sadness wouldn’t feel so sad,
Bruises wouldn’t feel so bad,
Everyone would smile at each other,
And read to their heart’s content.
