Fantasy/SciFiWritingMy favorite color is blue. I loved to play tag and hide-and-seek when I was three years old. I had an IF and his name was Mr. Snickerdoodle. He loved ice cream. Okay, back to me. BTW, my name is Damian Aranda. I live in Chicago.
Mr. Snickerdoodle is a bear. He has little claws and furry feathers. His favorite food is cookies and milk and he has black eyes and likes dancing. He loves going to the park. I met my IF at a park called Stone Park. He loves eating ice cream also and he also likes belly rubs. In his free time, he loves taking naps and his superpower is teleporting. He also is afraid of humans except for me. My IF lives in my house. When I go to sleep, he comes and cuddles me. He loves playing tag as well. His all-time favorite thing to do is playing video games. Mostly he played Mario Kart. He is funny, silly, nice, caring—my first friend ever!!
ABOUT THE PROJECT
With Paramount Pictures’ latest film IF as inspiration, children around the nation put pens to paper to bring their imaginary friends to life through writing. Together, 826 and Paramount Pictures published three books of youth writing inspired by the upcoming film, starring John Krasinski, Ryan Reynolds, Cailey Fleming, Louis Gossett Jr., Jon Stewart, Awkwafina, Maya Rudolph, and Steve Carell.
