Word: Doomungous
Definition: A bad feeling, usually a large amount of doom, or a bad scene.
There is a feeling that everyone gets. A really bad feeling. It’s usually a large amount of doom that you feel inside of you. Surprisingly, there is a word for this. That word is doomungous.
That’s exactly how I feel right now. I’m on my way to an evil shark’s lair, to stop his doomungous plan. A plan to steal churros from every narwhal in the ocean! I stop. Right in front of me is a very doomungous scene. It’s a huge machine, shaped like a shark head, with a small laser poking out of the mouth. Well, maybe not a small laser. More like a giant flashing laser, pointed towards the small narwhal town. Indeed doomungous, in my opinion.
I step toward it only to trigger a trap and get caught in a cage. I look around. Deep in the shadows, I see him: Evil Captain Crunch. He walks toward me, showing his doomungous and not-very-attractive face. I swallow hard.
“Ha!” he says. “You’ve fallen smack into my trap!” He then explains his plan, which is very boring.
