Plant Explorers

Performing a chromatographic investigation, students will observe the different pigments that make up leaves and learn about their purposes.

What Your Students Will Learn

Your students will carry out an investigation to separate the pigments from a leaf by paper chromatography. They will learn the different pigments that make up leaves and how those pigments serve different purposes.
