Students investigate the plant life that grows within their community and then select a specific species to learn about in-depth and consider how that species interacts with the overall ecosystem.
Introduction to Plant Life and Aquatic Photosynthesis Demonstration
What are the basic needs of plants? How are those similar to and different from the needs of other species? What is photosynthesis and how does it happen?
What Your Students Will Learn
Your students will be able to identify the basic needs of plants and explain the basic process of photosynthesis. They will also be able to explain what happens to a plant when it is deprived of light.
