First, watch the video. Then, answer this question in your writing journal: “Have you developed any habits recently that were inspired by something you own? Describe the habit and how it came to be.”

Next, you will think about some of your favorite objects–maybe even in a brand new way! Answer the questions on page 1 of the Objects and Habits—Handouts to curate a list of your favorite things and to start thinking about the stories behind them. If you don’t own an object that a question is asking about, feel free to skip it.
